Mercy named one of nation’s 50 Top cardiovascular hospitals
Mercy's Heart Center has again been named as one of the nation’s top cardiovascular hospitals by Fortune and IBM® Watson Health®. The annual Fortune/IBM 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals study based its analysis on publicly available data from nearly 1,000 acute care, non-federal U.S. hospitals that treat a broad spectrum of cardiology patients. Three-Star Rating for Open Heart Surgery
Mercy’s Heart Center is once again the recipient of the distinguished three-star rating for open heart surgery, the highest rating as reported by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
Mercy’s Heart Center is among the elite of all heart surgery centers in the United States and Canada with only about 10% of participants receiving the three-star rating for Overall Composite Score for Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), or open heart surgery.
